3.4 名词的复数

1. 名词复数构成

可数名词一般有两种形式：单数和复数。构成名词复数的方法：规则变化和不规则变化。

（1）名词复数的规则变化

名词复数规则变化如下：

1）一般在名词词尾加-s。例如：

joke — jokes笑话

My jokes set the whole table laughing.

我说的笑话使全桌人大笑起来。

结构分析：My jokes是主语，set是谓语，the whole table是宾语，laughing是-ing式词，作宾语补语。

officer — officers军官

Officers will parade through the town centre.

军官们将列队经过市中心。

结构分析：Officers是主语，will parade是谓语，through the town centre是介词词组，作状语。
