Padget Electronics, a subsidiary of Dixon Technologies, on Monday entered into a partnership to manufacture Nokia smartphones in India for HMD Global, it said in a regulatory filing. The Apple supplier recently entered into an agreement to manufacture smartphones for phone brand Motorola.
“Dixon's wholly-owned subsidiary, Padget Electronics, has signed an agreement with Motorola for manufacturing of smartphones. The products will be manufactured at Padget's manufacturing facility situated at Noida, Uttar Pradesh,” the company had said in an exchange filing.
