 Is The Cloth Burnt? by Weijun Last week was the science week in our school. After we finished the courses, we went down to the playground. There were lots of students on the playground where many interesting activities were taken out there. The robots danced on the stage attracted many of the students’ eyes. However, what impressed me most was a chemical experiment. One of the chemistry teachers was teaching a student how to do this experiment. The student just picked up a cloth and put it into some liquid. And suddenly the cloth was burning with some special smell. That was an amazing experiment. To be honest, I didn't know whether the cloth was burnt or not. But it was really on fire. The science week was great for us students indeed. 上周学校开展了科技周，放学后，大家都去操场看科学实验和科技作品展。我最感兴趣的是化学实验，只见一位化学老师正在指导学生做实验，将一块布放进一瓶液体沾一下，布就燃烧了？让人目瞪口呆！...... 看图写作是一个新的英语写作训练项目。它相比较日记写作的自由发挥而言，范围有所限制。同时也会给写作指明方向，确定大概内容，避免无话可说。 在高中英语新课标（2020）中，教学活动除了传统的听、说、读、写外，增加了“看”，即 Viewing 这一提法。这促使师生进一步改进教与学的策略，把原来的文本阅读，拓展到非连续文本和可视化范围。 同时，此训练还可以关联到“故事复述”能力的培养；同时也强化学生扩展语境，构思语篇的能力；另外，关注身边的人和事；学会用英语去阐述事件，表达观点和想法，也是英语学科核心素养和课程目标的基本要求。 声明：本系列图片素材来自题图备注公众号或屋主摄影，版权归摄影者所有，仅供学习交流使用。 THANKS~ |
