如果要说明是为了考试而突击则在cram后加for an/the exam

She's cramming for her history exam. 

为应付历史考试她拼命突击。

cram除了突击之外，还有一个意思是“塞”。通常指本身容器并不宽敞的情况下硬把东西挤进容器里。
