To create this unique resort destination, FORREC imagined a fascinating legend of our own making: the sun (fire) and sea (water), once mortal enemies, agreed to meet daily on beautiful Koh Lan Island to celebrate their harmony under the watchful eye of the monkeys who lived there. These elements are the signature icons that surprise and delight guests throughout the 41-hectare resort.

FORREC’s plan integrates the island’s outstanding natural landforms with a new marina, three- and four-star hotels, beach resorts and even a cable car system. At the heart of it all, an entertainment hub dazzles guests with diversions that include an extreme adventure park, water park, aquarium, Thai cultural plaza, conference centre, car museum and a nightly fire and water show that keeps the legend alive.
