系动词seem

本名言是复合句，主句为主谓宾结构：many people win success，前面是through引导的介词短语作状语，后面是out of引导的介词短语作状语，out of接what引导的名词性从句作其宾语。该从句为主系表结构，what在句中作主语，谓语动词为系动词seem，“形容词destined+不定式to be...”作表语。

seem是常用的系动词，意为“看起来”，后可接名词、形容词或从句等作表语。
