After the Revolution of 1911, Sun Yat-sen was elected temporary president of the Republic of China in Nanjing. On January 3, 1912, the government of the Republic of China was proclaimed, and the Qing Dynasty fell, ending the feudal monarchy that had lasted in China for more than 2000 years. At the time of the founding of the Republic of China, because the currency system had not yet been established and the currency system was in confusion, Sun Yat-sen became the interim president of the Republic of China. Finance Minister Chen Jintao submitted a letter to President Sun Yat-sen on March 11, 2001, in which he drummed and minted a commemorative $100,000 silver coin to mark the rectification. Then Wuhan and Nanchang took the lead in minting the commemorative coins of the founding of the Republic of China, which are planned to replace the coins of the Qing Dynasty. At the same time, Hunan Shuangqi Coin was made in this period.

The pattern of the Hunan Twin Banners is also modeled after the pattern of the Founding Commemorative Coins. The main coins of the Hunan Twin Banners are all left eighteen stars and right five colors of the banner (this is the pattern used in the early days of the Republic or in the early days of the Republic). Hunan double-banner coins are generally circulated when the ten, twenty was only issued 22000, the Republic of China in Chinese history only a few decades of time, so can be retained very rare coins. Although there are many versions of coins in the Republican period, these Quanzhen commemorative coins with the lettering of "Twenty Characters" on the front and printed with the double flags of "Republic of China" are rare in today's collection market. Because the stock is scarce receives the high-end collector favor, becomes the coin exchange market a new hot spot.

The two national flags are crossed by each other, and the four characters of "Made in Hunan" are cast on the outer edge of the coin, and the "Made in Hunan" is cast in the lower part of the coin. The flower branches are arranged on the right and left of the coin. On the back of the coin is the grain of Jiahe grass, which is composed of rice spikes. This coin is exquisite in workmanship, clear in money, extremely thick in pulp, good in taste. Since the Double Flag Coins came into being during the turbulent and turbulent period of the Republic of China, after the devastation of the war, only a few of them could be completely preserved. They were very rare and precious, and had high collection value.
