Her sister Anna teams up with a mountain man, his playful reindeer, and a snowman to change the weather conditions. Of the two princesses living in Arendelle, Elsa is the one with powers, living in solitude because she can’t control them. She is able to keep them a secret from her sister Anna. But she loses control of them at her coronation and plunges Arendelle into eternal winter. Frozen, for all its innovations, is not fundamentally revolutionary. But it is a little more psychologically complex than their Disney forerunners.
