今天分享一首Cutting Crew的《(I Just) Died in Your Arms》。

小E找歌比较随机，只要听到好听的就会推，今天这首歌就是如此。当时听到只觉得好听，没想到竟然是多国榜单的冠军歌曲，看来对于好听的音乐大家的品味是一致的。这首歌来自Cutting Crew1986年的首张专辑《Broadcast》。这首歌先在欧洲发行，然后在美国换封面和重新混音几首曲目发行。这是他们唱片公司Virgin Record在美国发行的第一张专辑，也成为乐队最热门的歌曲。在美国、加拿大和芬兰登顶榜单冠军，在英国、南非、瑞典和瑞士进入前五。

这首歌由Cutting Crew主唱Nick Van Eede创作，他讲述了这首歌的创作过程：“是的，我不能撒谎。这是一首关于我女朋友的歌(她实际上是我女儿的母亲)。在分开一年后的某个晚上，我们又在一起了，我想我们之间擦出一些火花，但我有些不确定。因此有了歌词，'I should have walked away。'我知道这听起来很老土，但那天早上我一觉醒来，一个小时内就写好了基本的歌词，三天内就完成了小样的创作和录制。”
