英语“使用”能力训练：把下面这篇英语文章“读”成英语：Put English into English 读一篇(原版)英语文章，到底是为获得什么英语能力？ 我们平时阅读一篇英语文章，包括所谓的原版原著英语，最主要是为了训练什么英语语言能力？ 是你要做的，就是训练一个语言能力：把英语读成英语的能力。这也就是为了彻底解决学习或阅读英语时你的“学习语言”、“阅读语言”、“理解语言”和“使用语言”必须是英语而不再是中文的英语能力。 我们平时读英语，就是为了把英语文章作为训练和获得这个英语能力的目的：英语之外有英语，英语之外还是英语，即Put English into English的能力。 “把英语读成英语”就是在“用”英语，一般包括以下几种情况： 1、“读”成词性转换(语法结构转换）表达“用”英语： 1.He died=He was dead. 2.She is beautiful= She is a girl of beauty(词性改变)。 2、“读”成同义词替换表达“用”英语： 1.Many people lost their lives=.Many people died = Many people were killed. 2. Many people died = Many people passed away =Many people deceased 3.May I help you?= How may I help you?= What can I do for you? 4. Thank you=Thanks a lot= Many thanks = I appreciate it. 3、“读”成词义定义（define）表达“用”英语： 1. scare:have great fear,or become frightened 不是把这句英语“读”成（翻译成）中文：scare，巨怕，受恐吓，而是把这句英语“读”成英语：Okay.Got it.Be scared of something means to have great fear of something or to become frightened.或者Okay.When we say I am scared, we mean we have great fear,or we are frightened or become frightened. 2.能坚持这么做“英语阅读”，能这么把英语“读”成英语，你就是在“用”英语，就能彻底克服“在前四部（大学英语教学）大纲强调以阅读为主精神的指导下，培养了一大批'哑巴英语’人才”的局面（citation大学英语教学50年回顾褚瑞莉) 但是，如果这么好的一篇“原版英语”被你用“发音都读不好”、“单词都不会”、“好多语法看不懂”等种种“低极要求”作为首要解决的困难时，你很难越过这些低端要求让你的英语学习升一个档次来训练。 1) 原版英语：Smoking and Health Everyone knows smoking is bad for your health. People who smoke too much may not live long. Millions of people die from smoking each year. Smoking causes many illnesses. Those who smoke often have bad teeth. A lot of people cough because of smoking. One of the most serious illnesses caused by smoking is lung cancer. Many people suffer from this terrible disease and lose their lives. Smoking is bad not only for smokers, but also for non-smokers especially women and children. Smoke caused by cigarettes may harm their health. Smoking is no good for your health. I hope all smokers can give up smoking for themselves and also for the people around them. Let's enjoy clean air together. 2)“读”成英语：Put English into English 1. 你以为你“读懂”Everyone knows smoking is bad for your health这句话了吗？你会说：读懂了呀！ 那只是你把它“读”成了你的母语，“用”你的母语“理解”，你当然“读懂”了。这就是你对“英语阅读”的理解：读成中文或用中文读懂了的英语就是“读懂”了英语，但是也同样无形中造就了你的“哑巴英语”。 1a.“读”成英语：We all know/We all understand/We all see/We all realized that smoking cigarette or tobacco is not good for your health(Are you ill,or are you not ill,are you in a healthy state?) 1b.“读”成英语：Smoke here means you smoke a cigarette or tobacco 你有“读”成这样的英语（“用”英语）的能力才叫“读懂”了英语。 估计没有几个人能做到主动自如“使用”cigarette or tobacco这类难记难拼写单词的水平。做不到就要朝着这个能力方向坚持训练。 2.People who smoke too much may not live long. 2a.People who smoke too much means heavy smokers or chain smokers, or people who smoke cigarette a lot 2b. If you may not live long, that means you may not have a long life, you will not get very old. 3.Millions of people die from smoking each year. 3a. Smoking leads to many illness.Smoking results in many illness,or diseases,or poor health 5.Those who smoke often have bad teeth. 5a. Those who smoke means the smokers 5b. often means usually 5c. Teeth are something hard in our mouth for cutting and chewing food and anything.We have the upper teeth and the lower teeth in our mouth 6.A lot of people cough because of smoking.
