They both won prizes in the maths contest.

结构分析：They是主语，both是同位语，won是谓语，prizes是宾语，in the maths contest是状语。

They were both prize winners in the maths contest.

结构分析：They是主语，were是系动词，过去一般时，both是同位语，prize winners是表语，in the maths contest是状语。

 

他们都参加了射击俱乐部。

They all joined the shooting club.

结构分析：They是主语，all是同位语，joined是谓语，the shooting club是宾语。

They were all members of the shooting club.

结构分析：They是主语，were是系动词，过去一般时，all是同位语，members of the shooting club是表语。
