菠萝花作为编织中的经典花样，其设计独特，变化丰富，在钩针编织中是应用较为广泛的一种花样。

 Pineapples are native to the Carribean and the natives considered the fruit a symbol of welcome.    

菠萝原产自加勒比海，当地人视这种水果为表示欢迎的象征。

    From the 1930s and 1940s， The pineapple started to show up in tablecloths, doilies and even garments and accessories. 

从1930到1940年起，菠萝（图案）开始出现在桌布，垫子甚至衣服和配饰上。

Commonly made in cotton thread, the tablecloths gracing the tables of diners and restaurants of that era sported the pineapple as the proprietor’s welcome gesture.

通常用棉线制作，那个时代使用菠萝桌布装饰餐桌的餐馆显示出主人欢迎的姿势。
