杨彬是个非常感性的小女人,对于各种艺术和身边的日常生活都充满热情与好奇,她不断由着性子研究着一切她所接触到的艺术样式:油画、水彩、民间艺术、现代艺术、服饰艺术、中国画……等等。于是,到了她搞作品时,各类艺术都争先恐后地想露一小脸,互相挤兑,相互补益,形成了她注定要跨入折衷主义艺术的宿命。
这不,展现在我们面前的她的作品,都呈现着一种综合姿态,既有民间剪纸的元素,也有中国水墨元素,更具西方的现代构成,又不乏水彩的轻快和透明。有线的观念,也有块面的观念;也有色彩的冷暖观念。
在信息时代,小小的地球村里,各类信息便利地获取,并相互碰撞,这也是一个时代的特点。我们的这个小女人,在碰撞中却透出了她美好、天真、敏感、脆弱的灵魂,使她的作品取得了除了表面形式外,背后感人的性灵支撑。

Yang Bin is a very sensitive little woman.She is passionate and curious about all kinds of art and daily life around her.She constantly studies all kinds of art styles that she comes into contactwith: oil painting, watercolor, folk art, modern art, costume art, Chinesepainting...  And so on.  Therefore, when she was working on her works,all kinds of arts were scrambling to make a small appearance, squeezing eachother and complementing each other, forming her fate to enter eclecticart. 
Therefore, her works presented in front ofus all present a comprehensive attitude, there are not only folk paper-cutelements, but also Chinese ink and wash elements, which have a more westernmodern composition, and there is no lack of the lightness and transparency ofwatercolor.There are wired ideas as well as blocky ideas;  Also have the notion of warm and cold colors.
In the information age, the small globalvillage, all kinds of information is easily accessible and collide with eachother, which is also a characteristic of the era.  Our little woman, in the collision revealedher beautiful, innocent, sensitive, fragile soul, so that her works obtained inaddition to the surface form, the touching spiritual support behind it.

纵横驰骋——无解的表达方式

杨彬的艺术之魂,有两样奇特元素——甲马和梦魇。甲马大致起源于唐宋,盛于明清,与云南民间流传说法和样式吻合。《水浒传》中的“神行太保”戴宗,腿缚“甲马”日行七八百里,可见此物威力不俗。而将甲马引入当代艺术,怪异夸张的神性,飘忽不定的灵性,口口相传的悟性,则会意融合,陡生异像。很显然,艺术家杨彬在意的是对无影无踪的民间语音文本的调侃审视,和莫须有传说戏言的把玩神拟。有无之间,无中生有是也。
梦魇,是一种常见的睡眠障碍,俗称“鬼压床”。表现为患者在睡眠期反复出现令人恐惧的噩梦,常会被惊醒,惊醒后很快恢复定向与警觉,能够详细回忆梦境;发作时恐惧是主要的梦境体验,有时也会有愤怒、悲伤或苦恼的体验。梦魇有时也是一种正常的生理现象,例如在压力过大或遭受了重大的精神刺激时会导致患者出现梦魇,此外也与一些生理因素、心理社会因素、疾病因素及药物因素有关。当然,这种似“病”不似“病”的生理现象,导引出亦真亦幻“鬼”的魔影,和精神恐吓的使诈悬疑,与艺术表达追求新奇异像的个人诉求不谋而合,或曰异曲同工,应该是智取良材之举,也是合情合理的。
由此而论,杨彬的艺术找到了释放其理想的“法门”——和幽灵默契合应,和虚无隔山打牛,和冥界互联互通,和“三界”图像传情。如是,艺术与诸神、诸仙、诸魔、诸鬼之间,似乎容易达成共识与共谋。因为,艺术的至高诉求,就是与神界仙界魔界虚界在莫须有平台上共舞的。是故,艺术表达方式无解,在殚精竭虑中苦求,在纵横驰骋中游向远方……

Move About Freely And Quickly 
— TheExpression of No Solution
 
Yang Bin's artistic soul has two peculiarelements —Jiama and Nightmare. Jiama originated roughly in the Tang and Songdynasties and flourished in the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is consistent withthe folklore and styles of Yunnan. In "Water Margin", Dai Zong, the"Shen Xing Taibao", had his legs tied to the "Jia Ma" andtraveled seven or eight hundred miles a day, which shows that this thing isvery powerful. However, when jiama is introduced into contemporary art, thestrange exaggerated divinity, the erratic spirituality, and the understandingpassed from mouth to mouth will be combined and produce visions.   Obviously, what the artist Yang Bin caresabout is the ridiculous examination of the folk voice and text without a trace,as well as the joking of legends. Between existence and nothingness, there issomething out of nothing.
Nightmare is a common sleep disorder,commonly known as "Sleep Paralysis". It is manifested as the patientrecurring terrifying nightmares during sleep, and is often awakened. Afterawakening, he will quickly regain orientation and alertness and be able torecall dreams in detail; fear is the main dream experience at the onset, andsometimes there will be anger, sadness or distress Experience. Sometimesnightmares are also a normal physiological phenomenon. For example, patientswill suffer from nightmares when they are over-stressed or subjected to majormental stimulation. In addition, they are also related to some physiologicalfactors, psychosocial factors, disease factors, and drug factors. Of course,this kind of physiological phenomenon that looks like "disease" doesnot look like "disease", leads to the specter of "ghost",which is both real and unreal, coincides with the deception and suspense ofspiritual intimidation, and with the personal appeal of artistic expression inpursuit of new and strange images. It should be a wise and reasonablemove. 
From this point of view, Yang Bin's art hasfound a "method" to release her ideals-a tacit understanding withghosts, a fight against nothingness, interconnection with the underworld, andan image of the "Three Worlds". If so, it seems easy to reachconsensus and complicity between art and the gods, immortals, demons, andghosts. Because, the supreme appeal of art is to dance with the gods, theimmortal realms, and the devil virtual realms on an unwarranted platform. Forthis reason, there is no solution to the way of artistic expression, strugglingto seek in desperation, and swimming into the distance while move about freelyand quickly......

自序——与不确定性共舞

多年来不同系列的创作,从《围城》、《逝景》、《梦魇》到《民谣》系列等。我一直在寻找一种属于自己的表达方式,也是自己热衷的表达方式。人们的情绪、社会的变迁,抑或是某种突然的遭遇和处境……,这些关乎时代的、社会的自我思维与感悟,我统统融入作品里,并不断探索新的表现形式和不同材料的运用。随着社会与科技的发展,我希望创作能融入更多的跨媒介元素,如新媒体、新科技、社会心理学等,实现从架上绘画到绘画装置的尝试与转变,以及实验影像等综合性的创作方式表达,企图在未来的作品里呈现更多的可能性。

Self Preface—Dancing with Uncertainty

Over the years,different series of creations, from "Siege", "Elapse ·Landscape", "Nightmare" to "Ballad" series, etc. Ihave been looking for a way of expression that belongs to me, and also a way ofexpression that I am passionate about. People's emotions, social changes, orsome kind of sudden encounters and situations..., these are the times andsocial self-thinking and perceptions, I have all integrated into the work, andcontinue to explore new forms of expression and the use of different materials.. With the development of society and technology, I hope that my creation canincorporate more cross-media elements, such as new media, new technology,social psychology, etc., The attempt and transformation from easel painting topainting installation, as well as comprehensive creative expression such asexperimental images, are realized in an attempt to present more possibilitiesin future works.
