The 20th Cape Town International Kite Festival(第20屆開普敦國際風箏節) – Africa’s biggest kite festival, hosted by Cape Mental Health – will set out to lift spirits when it takes place in Muizenberg next weekend on November 1 and 2. With kiters coming from as far afield as Germany, New Zealand and Singapore festival-goers can expect to see some amazing kite creations, including Toothless from 'How to Train Your Dragon’ making his first African flight. With on-stage entertainment, free kite-making workshops, yummy food stalls and an eclectic market, it’s healthy family fun in support of a good cause. The Cape Town International Kite Festival happens on (and above) the lawns of Zandvlei Nature Reserve, Muizenberg (corner Axminster and The Row), from 10am to 6pm daily. Entry is R30 or R10 for children 12 years and under.
