Changes often raise fear and curiosity. I particularly enjoy working with clients who are full of curiosities and who are willing to explore unknowns and perceive unknowns as gifts. I am interested in supporting clients’ fear related to changes, and helping clients work on variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, traumas, identity development (e.g., sexual orientation and cultural identities), etc. Prior to arriving in the US, I was a mental health provider in Taiwan. In my early career, I practiced child play therapy and animal-assisted psychotherapy.
Currently I practice self-relations psychotherapy and equine-assisted psychotherapy (coming soon). I believe the relationship between a person and their own self is crucial to mental health. I help clients reconnect to their mind (i.e., cognitive self) and body (i.e., somatic self), and believes this mindful practice is the basic foundation for metal health.
I am aware that every client has different styles/preferences of communication and learning. I conduct both traditional talk therapy in therapy room and equine-assisted psychotherapy in nature (coming soon) to support your journey of self-exploration and changes. Send me an email and we can set up a consultation meeting to answer your questions.
