Artist Barbara Jaskiewicz-Socewicz was born and currently lives in the Polish city of Wroclaw (Poland). She graduated from the Polytechnic University in her native city (Department of Architecture).

In my works I try to show the beauty of the moment, the shimmering reflection of light. I want my work to evoke positive feelings in the audience.
I chose the palette knife as the perfect tool for creating my art. Thanks to this technique, the painting radiates sincere purity of color and joy of life. I found many great tips in Leonardo da Vinci's Treatise on Painting. Painting is like music, it has its own tones, colors, accents and moods.
