OPPO is looking for a passionate Creative Copywriter to join the Social Media team. If you’re passionate about tech and have a proven track record in copywriting, digital marketing, and social media, we would love to welcome you to our team.Draft, develop and edit marketing copy to be used across all OPPO channels, including email marketing, web, social media, out-of-home, brand materials, and other copy needs. Maintain a high understanding of OPPO’s product portfolio, in order to draft creative and engaging copy highlighting user benefits with a clear understanding of users’ needs. Collaborate in cross-functional projects, working with internal teams across the wider organization to develop content for global audiences. Pitch, draft, and develop original content campaigns with a heavy focus on copywriting. Communicate proactively with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency and maintain quality. Partake in brainstorming sessions and ideation of marketing and social media campaigns.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, English, or communications-related field preferred. 3+ years of copywriting experience, with experience in the tech industry preferred. Experience working internationally, across diverse and complex organizations, and comfortable working quickly in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment is essential. Passion for content creation for a wide and growing range of digital media channels; including new media, video, social content, and paid advertising. Ability to contribute to strategic discussions and planning and convert to implementation. Excellent interpersonal skills, an ability to work with specialist creative, engineering and marketing people in a spirit of collaboration and teamwork. Native-level English proficiency
