Studio I IN used a rich palette of walnut and off-white. To keep the lines clean throughout the space, the studio uses handleless doors and units, as well as lighting fixtures hidden above walls or Windows. Corrugated glass paneling diffuses daylight from the bathroom into the kitchen area, stucco off-white walls and ceiling, and furniture edges are softly rounded to echo the wooden columns found in Japanese temple architecture. 'We maintained the fluidity and continuity of the design and hid the protrusions normally found in homes,' said Yohei Terui.
