Plant-based dietary patterns play beneficial role in domains of healthy aging

每个人尽量延长健康生活的时期,在公共卫生事业中,是一个极具挑战性的难题。人在年纪越来越大的过程中,要预防与老龄化相关的众多疾病,将个人的全身整体健康,一直保持在美好的状态下,会涉及各种有缓冲作用的因素,饮食便是其中之一。

One of the challenges in public health is to extend the healthspan. One of the modifiable factors involved in preventing age-related diseases and keeping overall health in good status during aging is diet.

老龄健康涉及各种有缓冲作用的因素

要让个人身体里面的内在功力处于最佳状态,需要涉及许多个领域,包括认知力、心理状态、感觉功能、生命力和运动能力。世界卫生组织倡导,要将这些领域的内在功力作为模式,让自己在健康的状态下慢慢变老。

Many domains are related to optimal personal intrinsic capacity, including cognition, locomotion, psychological status, sensory function, and vitality. The World Health Organization has proposed such intrinsic capacity as a model of healthy aging.

大家要加深理解的是,在有益于健康的饮食与健康的老化之间,存在着种种联系,而且最新的流行病学和临床研究的结论显示,各种饮食模式对于健康老化的这些领域的影响是各不相同的。

Better understanding is needed of the relationships between diet beneficial to health and healthy aging. And latest epidemiological and clinical studies have resulted in that dietary patterns play different roles in domains of healthy aging.

现在看来,各种饮食方案,无论是事先设计好了再检验,还是根据已有的资料进行检验,只要是以植物为主的饮食方案,对于健康老化的这些领域,都会起到有益的作用。

It seems that either priori or posteriori dietary patterns on the basis of plants have a beneficial role in domains of healthy aging.
