英语阅读英译英：I'd like to check in
阅读下面对话，按要求做到以下几点：
1、不允许“边读（听）边英译汉成汉语”“读懂”。
2、用完整句子的英语回答问题。不允许只用单词回答我的问题，比如hotel,check in等，必须努力组织成完整的一句英语句子“回答”问题。
3、体现你能把学过的已知的（旧）英语用起来。

A.I'd like to check in,please.
B.May I have your ID card or passport?And are you going to pay?
A.Yes.Here you are.I'll pay by credit card.

1.Where does it take place?
I think the dialogue takes place in the hotel,at the front desk.
能把学过的已知的英语Front Desk or Reception用起来吗？如果只会“英译汉”是没有机会把（旧）英语用起来的。
2.How do you know?
Because:
(1) I think I read Check in.We usually check in at the airport,at the hotel,or at work.But when I read May I have your ID card or passport,I know it is in a hotel,not at the airport or at work.
(2)When we check in at a hotel,we usually say something like I'd like to check in,and May I have your ID card,or Would you please show me your ID card?
我们需要这样的（把学过的已知的）英语整句用起来的能力，而不是翻译成我们都会说的汉语的能力。
3.How are you paying?
Okay.I got you.If you say How are you paying,you mean Are you paying by credit card or on cash?
只会把How are you going to pay翻译成汉语来学来记，就不会给自己一个锻炼把pay by credit card和相对的on cash用起来。语言是在用中学的，多用几次就自然掌握了。不是只在用汉语学的语法课里来回讲解on cash怎么用，不是by cash而是on cash等等纯粹的语法学习。
