环境专业介绍
环境工程是研究和从事防治环境污染和提高环境质量的科学技术。环境工程同生物学中的生态学、医学中的环境卫生学和环境医学，以及环境物理学和环境化学有关。
北欧的环保事业非常发达，从政府、企业到个人都非常重视对环境的保护。
环境工程指通过健全的工程理论与实践来解决环境卫生问题，主要包括：
●提供安全、可口的公共给水；
●适当处置与循环使用废水与固体废物；
●建立城市与农村符合卫生要求的排水系统；
●控制水、土壤和空气污染，并消除这些问题对社会和环境造成的影响。
而且，它涉及的是公共卫生领域里的工程问题，例如控制通过节肢动物传染的疾病，消除工业健康危害，为城市、农村和娱乐场所提供合适的卫生设施，评价技术进步对环境的影响等等。
和环境科学相比，环境工程更偏实践，一般主要是做环境污染治理设施设备设计、设备运行维护以及咨询服务，与工程项目打交道。以环境工程为例，处理废水就是最常见的一种。
专业方向
- 环境管理：侧重学习管理不断变化的知识，包括气候变化等，并利用生物技术使环境呈现良性的发展。
- 环境可持续性专业：主要侧重于环境的可持续发展方面并针对此问题进行深入学习与研究，从而利用知识与先进技术促进人与环境的和谐发展。
- 环境与健康：侧重通过分析影响人类身体健康的环境因素，从而找寻适当的改善方法等。
