Body-1. 读书对孩子的读写能力提升比电子设备更好。 -Books, especially those written by famous writers, are better in word choice and grammar than most TV programs. -When reading a book, readers can read at their own pace. (stop when they do not have a clear understanding, inspire deeper understanding on written material.) By contrast, TV programs attract viewers to changing pictures. Body-2: 读书比看电视更能培养小孩的想象能力。 -Readers have to imagine what they have read by themselves and there is no restriction. For example, when we read a description of the geographical features of New Zealand, we can imagine the fantastic scenario even though we have not visited this country. -When watching TV or playing computer games, audiences obtain information in a passive way because they see the vivid pictures created by others. Body-3: 看电视或玩游戏比看书容易使孩子的听口能力得到锻炼。 -With simultaneous visual and audio input, people are constantly exposed to the authentic language context. -By repeating and imitating what the speaker on the screen narrates, people could speak more accurately and fluently.
