小橘子同学是原来我在新东方的学生，也是雅思月计划的老学员了，一共参加过两次学习。三年前第一次学完写作月计划，在英国考到了写作7分的成绩。今年寒假再次学习了全科的雅思月计划，在2月12日参加考试，写作再次考到7分，阅读和听力也分别考到8.5分和8分。
众所周知，在中国大陆地区雅思写作要考到7分，是非常困难的事情（比例不到1%）。同学上完雅思月计划之后，总结出言简意赅的几句心得：

Is it a positive or a negative development?In some countries, retiring people tend to invest their money in their personal life such as visiting everywhere instead of leaving that for their offspring. Personally, I deem this a good phenomenon.（改写题目+表态）First, spending rather than giving does good to both the senior and the young. Savings from the senior’s years of working can finally support their retiring life in various ways. Without concerns from the work, they can have stress-free holidays or a spending spree as they worry nothing about their children’s finance. In terms of the young, they are expected to make their own living as they cannot get financial support from their parents, avoiding being spoiled and thus a chance to be more self-sufficient and independent. To be specific, they have to manage their own finance and be responsible for their bills.Moreover, the government and society also benefit from the way in which the aged people spending during their retirement. Parents care more about themselves after retiring, lightening the financial burdens of the welfare system and enabling the government to worry less about the pension. From an economic perspective, more consumption from those who retire serves as a booster for particular industries. For instance, this group of people invest more on healthcare because their bodies are more fragile than they used to be.In conclusion, retiring people leaving no money for the children but enjoying by themselves contributes to both individuals and the society.（总结全文，再次表态）
