I don't sleep well recently. Sometimes It is hard for me to wake up. In the morning, I always get out of bed and wobble off to the bathroom, eyes closed and mind emptied. Then, I come back and throw myself into bed again. My mental awareness tells me to get up, but my physical body refuses to do so. Sometimes I dream a lot. Can you believe that I have dreamed about my tutor these days? Here is the reason. I set up a deadline for the task he assigned to me, and when the deadline is getting closer, I am worried about the possibility that I may fail to make it. I am so panicky that I even won't let myself go in my dream. Anyway, my poor sleep quality frustrates me a lot. Last Saturday, I was exhausted. I worked for the whole day, teaching primary students English downtown. After working, I hung out with my friend and had a big meal in a restaurant serving Yunan specialities. Before we returned to our dormitory, we went shopping for a while. When we finally got on the subway, both of us found ourselves lucky enough to have seats. Where we lived is far away from downtown area, so a bird must have shitted on our head. At that night, I took a shower and went on dealing with work, such as giving feedback to parents about their kids' performance in the class and making arrangements for next week's tasks. When I went to bed, it was almost 12 p.m. I knew deeply that I was sleepy, but it took me for a great while to fall asleep. It was really a torture. Dreaming whilst asleep really saddens me the next morning. I hope I can stop dreaming in the future. I really do.
I am always a lucky girl. Last night, I figured out why I couldn't sleep well. This is all the temperature's fault. I turned on the air conditioner in our dormitory, and magically I slept very well. No dreams. Not sleepy at all when I woke up at half past six. People say that if you are worried about something, you may come across it in your dream. In my case, what I need is just to turn on the air conditioner. |
