Haha, guess not! 那之后他回到他老婆那儿还会一切安好吗？哈哈，我猜不会吧。 Okay, now let’s learn some important tips of pronunciations first. 好了，现在让我们先学习一些重要的发音技巧。 1. 省略 [h] 的连读 在连音规则中，以“h”开头的单词 [h] 音近乎省略。因为 [h] 发音很特殊——只是出气没有摩擦，所以拼读时好像被省略了。 例如： How is~(h)e？他怎么样了？ What~(h)appened？发生什么了？ 文章中： It says (h)ere that the school that is dancing now is one of the oldest and most prestigious samba schools in Rio. 据说现在正在跳舞的(舞者们的)学校是里约最古老和最负盛名的桑巴学校之一。 2. 辅音+元音的连读 前后两个单词，前一个单词的最后一个音标是辅音，后一个单词的第一个音标是元音，通常要连读。 例如： get up，get最后一个音是辅音，up第一个字母是元音音标。 文章中： Look at how many dancers there are. 看有那么多的舞者在那儿。 连读分析： 句中look最后一个音/k/是辅音，at第一个字母a发/æ/是元音，所以就读成[lʊkæt]。 「核心单词掌握」 1. ticket scalper 票贩子 It means someone sells tickets at a higher price to people who don’t have tickets. 它指的是某人把票以更高价格卖给没票的人。 例句： He bought the ticket at a high price from a ticket scalper. 他从一个票贩子手里高价买了张黄牛票。 2. prestigious [preˈstɪdʒəs] adj. 有声望的；有威望的；声誉高的 It means respected and admired as very important or of very high quality. 它指的是被尊重和赞赏为非常重要或质量非常高。 例句： Harvard University is one of the most prestigious schools in North America. 哈佛大学是北美最负盛名的学校之一。 3. float [floʊt] n.彩车 It is a large vehicle on which people dressed in special costumes are carried in a festival. 它是节日期间，人们穿着特殊服装乘坐的大型车辆。 衍生：float v. 浮动 It means to move slowly on water or in the air. 它指的是在水上或空中缓慢移动。 例句： He's good at dressing shop windows but he really had to put his thinking cap on when they asked him for an idea for a carnival float. 他擅长布置橱窗，但他们向他征求狂欢节彩车时的意见时，他实在得好好考虑一下。 4. carnival [ˈkɑːrnɪvl] n. 狂欢节 It is a public festival, usually one that happens at a regular time each year, that involves music and dancing in the streets, for which people wear brightly coloured clothes. 它是一种公共节日，通常在每年的固定时间举行，包括在街上演奏音乐和跳舞，人们穿着色彩鲜艳的衣服。 拓展： Carnival in Rio began as a working class festivity in 1872.
