December 13 marks the 85th anniversary of the Nanjing Massacre and the ninth National Memorial Day for Nanjing Massacre Victims. we should remember those massacred in the ancient city in 1937 by invading Japanese troops. Some 300,000 Chinese civilians and unarmed soldiers were killed over six weeks after the Japanese army captured the city in December that year. It's not just a cold number, but behind every number is an individual human being.
