塔基斯(Takis，原名: Panayiotis Vassilakis，1925-2019)出生于雅典，可以说是20世纪下半叶最具影响力的希腊艺术家之一，在他逾70年的艺术生涯中，他始终是动态艺术(kinetic art)的先驱者，通过电磁场创造一种能动的雕塑形态。

不可见的磁力成为塔基斯作品里最主要的媒介，而他试图用各种不同的方式让其显现。不同于许多我们熟知的雕塑作品所强调的物质性(materiality)，塔基斯相信万物的精髓潜藏于视觉之外，他作品中对不同物体的使用往往在于那超越物性的能量。

Invisible magnetism became the dominant medium in Takis's work, and he tried to make it manifest in a variety of ways. Unlike the emphasis on materiality in many of our familiar sculptures, Takis believes that the essence of all things lies outside the visual, and the use of different objects in his work often lies in the energy that transcends the physical.
