一个牛津国际班关于巴以冲突的讨论

过去一天，我的牛津班级群里一直在讨论巴以问题，一个大班级，144个同学，来自56个国家，没有以色列同学，一个父亲巴勒斯坦母亲美国白人美国国籍同学，20多个中东同学，10个美国同学和10多个其他发达国家同学。

前几日大家一直在热火朝天讨论怎么举办毕业典礼party，完全不讨论哈马斯对以色列妇女儿童的暴行。昨天在加沙医院被炸后，一半巴勒斯坦血统美国同学率先发难，长篇贴文谴责以色列对巴勒斯坦人的种族灭绝（“Genocide”），从历史到现实控诉以色列对巴勒斯坦人的残杀和监禁，全文不提一字哈马斯暴行。

然后约旦同学跟帖又是长篇控诉以色列对巴勒斯坦人民的“Genocide”,文中最后提到哈马斯，但是没有谴责哈马斯残害以色列平民的暴行，只是说以色列是一个配备军队的国家政权，哈马斯只是一群好战分子，言下之意力量多么悬殊。（她的原话“But I will not tolerate false equivalencies between Israel, and Hamas-one is a state with an army, the other is a group of militants-think before you equate them.）

然后其他中东同学就继续跟帖控诉以色列和呼吁停火拯救巴勒斯坦人。

然后在无国界工作的加拿大医生根据她的灾难救援工作，对苦难中的巴勒斯坦人民表示同情，并提醒她对巴以冲突不太了解，但委婉呼吁大家冷静慎重用词，着眼于解决问题。

我看了看中东同学的发言获得了40多个点赞，加拿大同学获得6个点赞。而其他美国、德国、英国等同学不发言，给巴勒斯坦血统同学点赞。

最后我就忍不住直率地发言了。我首先对加沙发生的人道主义灾难表示震惊，对苦难的巴勒斯坦人民表示同情和支持。我反对任何形式对平民的有目的屠杀，包括哈马斯对以色列妇女儿童的残害。然后我说，不把哈马斯的暴行和巴勒斯坦人民切割开，很难赢得国际同情和支持。再次，我从一个记者的角度建议，巴勒斯坦方除了讲苦难历史，也要提供有传播力度的故事，一张哈马斯把以色列儿童烧成黑炭的照片，在传播力度上比以色列用导弹摧毁加沙楼杀死更多巴勒斯坦儿童，更让人印象深刻。以及提供事实，加沙医院到底是以色列导弹炸的还是伊斯兰激进组织杰哈德火箭弹误炸，以色列提供了证据，巴勒斯坦方也可以提供自己的证据，比如弹坑现场，炸弹残骸等，有证据的事实更能赢得国际社会的同情。最后我说，眼前当务之急是拯救巴勒斯坦人民，呼吁停火，然后从长远看客观、理性，求同存异为巴以问题寻找一个长期和平解决方案，没有巴勒斯坦或者没有以色列的方案都无法真正解决巴以难题。

我的发言只得到了加拿大医生的一个点赞。估计阿拉伯同学已经对我怨恨在心了。估计我要是回去参加毕业典礼，也会有同学对我冷脸不欢迎的了。

再说一个事，暑假的时候那名巴勒斯坦血统同学在牛津全校范围内组织了一个赴巴勒斯坦难民营调研的活动，我一直对巴勒斯坦问题很感兴趣，所以我报名参加了，并在报名理由中注明作为一名记者，我天然对弱势群体抱有更大的同情，想深入了解巴勒斯坦人民的遭遇。但所有报名的人，只有我一个人被拒绝了，其他报名的所有班上同学都参加了巴勒斯坦之行，他们大多是各国政府官员背景。在我的一生中，这是我第一次被学生社团拒绝。我去信为何拒绝我，回复官方语言申请者太多太优秀选不过来，只好放弃一些。据说在整个行程中，组织方每天的总结会都要提以色列的残暴，在他们的脑海里，以色列不应该存在中东。

再看今天牛津的学生社团为巴勒斯坦人民请愿书，呼吁督促停止以色列对巴勒斯坦人的种族灭绝，依然只字未提哈马斯暴行。没有谴责恐怖主义，怎么能争取和平。

好吧，我这次直率地发言估计又大大得罪了我这位巴勒斯坦血统同学，我@了他致敬为巴勒斯坦人民做的救援工作，但不能接受哈马斯对普通以色列妇孺的杀害。这估计也是他不能接受的。他没有任何回应。这个黑白分明的世界，连大学也越来越不宽容了，当事人偏执一方，事不关己者无关痛痒地廉价同情点赞，幸好还有极少一部分人在默默人道主义救援。要不我该对世界多失望。

我的直率连我的美国退休外交官host Ruth也经常看不下去了，以前她会对我说，Hui，说话不要太直接，用一种外交的语气友善地和人交流。对你重要的事情你竭力去争取，不重要的人和事你友善地示好就行了。但是Ruth是犹太人，她的表兄还在以色列，瘫痪在家只有保姆照顾，还要被抬着躲炮弹袭击。Ruth 在这次巴以冲突中特别愤怒和悲伤，认为中国人怎么能不谴责哈马斯的恐怖主义。

最后，我想把我的英文讨论贴在后面，我的英文还很幼稚，还在不断提高中，但我不忌于用幼稚的英文分享我的看法。

“As an outsider to the Muslim world, I am shocked at the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza. First, I want to express my solid condolences and support for the Palestinian people and show my respect to those helping the miserable Palestinian people. Any deliberate violence against civilians is unacceptable, including the Hamas' violent killing of Israeli civilians. The primary issue currently is to call on Israel to stop killing Palestinian civilians in Gaza. As a journalist, I have also supported the Palestinian people in a vulnerable position in the past. Still, rationally, we must cut Hamas's atrocities against Israeli civilians from the Palestinian people. Otherwise, it will be hard to get sympathy from the international community. I think it is essential to call for a ceasefire and then have an objective and rational discussion on how to get final peace in Palestine in the long term. Regardless of history, all intentional massacres against civilians are unacceptable.

Finally, from a professional journalist's point of view, I would like to make some suggestions. War is military action as well as information war, and the Arab world should invite more international media to Gaza to report what is really happening. From a communications point of view, the photographs of the scene where several Israeli babies were burned to a crisp by Hamas were too powerful to be disseminated than the Israeli missile bombardment of Gaza that killed more Palestinian children. The Palestinian side also has to present shocking facts to win the international community's support. And for the truth, who bombed the hospital in Gaza? Israel showed proof that it was the Islamic Jehad organization that attacked by mistake; the Palestinian side can also provide evidence to examine the status quo of the explosion, the crater, and the bomb fragments; it is not difficult to figure out whether it was a missile or a rocket. I think the truth with impact and evidence can win the international community's sympathy.

Above all, humanitarian aid first! After the Israeli ceasefire, then we can rationally discuss how to find a peaceful solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Anyway, I would like to express my sympathy and support for the suffering of the Palestinian people and pay tribute to those who have taken practical actions to help the Palestinian people. I hope I have not offended any of my Muslim friends with my blunt remarks.”
