肖爱民，笔名萧喑，号樂墨斋，1962年出生于兰州。18岁师承齐白石门下、著名画家韩不言先生，为嫡传弟子，后师承顾子惠、骆石华先生习书刻印。现为甘肃省美术家协会会员、甘肃丝绸之路协会常务理事、甘肃金石篆刻研究院研究员、兰州市政协书画院特聘书画家、兰州市美协西固分会副主席。作品多次参加国内外书画展览并获奖，也有数十幅作品被国内外艺术机构收藏。在《中国书画报》《书法报》《工人日报》《甘肃美术》《鉴书赏画》《鉴藏》《篆刻》等数十家报刊杂志发表并专题评介。举办个人画展、作品义卖展及联展。作品入选《中国美术家优秀作品集》《甘肃美术大展作品集》等多种大型画册，入编《当代书画篆刻家辞典》等辞书。出版有《萧喑画猫选辑》《萧喑书画篆刻精选》《中国当代实力派画家——萧喑画选》。
Xiao Aimin, pen name Xiao Yin, No. Le Mo Zhai, was born in Lanzhou in 1962. At the age of 18, Mr. Han Buyan, a famous painter under the gate of Qi Baishi, was his own disciple. Later, Mr. Gu Zihui and Mr. Luo Shihua studied calligraphy and engraving. Now he is a member of Gansu Artists Association, executive director of Gansu Silk Road Association, researcher of Gansu Jinshi seal cutting Research Institute, special calligrapher and painter of Lanzhou CPPCC calligraphy and Painting Institute, and vice chairman of Xigu branch of Lanzhou Artists Association. He published and commented on dozens of newspapers and magazines, such as China painting and calligraphy daily, workers daily, Gansu fine arts, appreciation of books and paintings, collection and seal cutting.
