The Rose’s Missing (Group Poems) suzhu Abstract:The past is like the wind, changing into tears of separation. The past will never come back, and all we have is loneliness and longing. When I am alone in tears, you come to my eyes, but why is it always so sad? Unable to forget, unable to meet, only a painful mist, with figures elusive and distant. To whom can I confide my infatuation without you by my side? My tears, how do you know? I planted roses for you, but I can only sigh at the falling petals, helpless and bored. Finally, I am haggard. I can’t get any news from you, I’m just a late confession. The rose is in despair, waiting for your return. I miss your shadow, however... This set of poems was created in early autumn 1994, with a total of 34 poems, the title of each poem is taken from the popular song “999 Roses” by Tai Zhengxiao at that time. At the end of the college entrance examination, after a farewell, I returned alone to the depths of the mountains and lost the news of Yi... Now that I read it, I can see my immaturity, but without making any modifications, I only want to reminisce about the tears of youth.
