2024-March-28 16:50 By: GMW.cn On March 20th at 8:31 AM, the Queqiao II relay satellite of the lunar exploration project phase four was successfully launched into space by the Long March-8 Y3 carrier rocket at the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site in China. After flying for 24 minutes, the Long March-8 Y3 carrier rocket separated from the satellite, directly sending the Queqiao II relay satellite into the scheduled lunar transfer orbit with a perigee altitude of 200 kilometers and an apogee altitude of 420,000 kilometers. The solar wings and relay communication antennas of the relay satellite successively unfolded as planned, and the launch mission achieved complete success.
