The Illinois State Police are warning residents about a phone scam where someone is calling claiming to be from the ISP and collecting donations for fallen police officers. The phone number most often associated with the call is from a 312 area code number, but phone scammers have the ability to quickly change the phone number they use.
ISP Master Sergeant Jason Bradley says the state police will never call you looking for money.
Bradley says everyone has resources to check and see if an organization calling you is legitimate.
The ISP encourages anyone who believes they have been victims of a phone scam to call 1-800-243-0618 and report it to the Office of the Attorney General.
--12/28/2023 spouse told me 2 phones called after we returned home 1:20pm.
1. the white male called phone numer 8722054307 chicago,IL, which recently frequently saw the phone# called.
earlier fraud police donations calling which i did blockade until spouse frequently cant call me so cant but unblock all 1000 fraud phone number and one by one deleted manually, and removed mine form his cell phone contact listing then added back, settings "Do Not Disturb"change "allow calls from" to everyone in stead all contacts, then set silent mode.
this time i did see "calls with a checkmark have been verified by the carrier" so i called back who is not the same voice as before and spoke very fast so i let spouse to take over than he requested donation for police-related spouse repeated saying "we are not interesting" still cant stop the man talking. spouse hanged off.
i did google search the phone# cant find any, those listing can see the ph# but click it completely other ph#. i would say to allure people visit their websites that most request to pay. im prety sure is not robot auto voice calling because i did say my english is not good cant understand going let spouse talk him, and the man said "Thank you".
after spouse handoff i immediately block the caller but 10:33pm still called.
2. the 2nd is female ph# 6306725945 Roselle,IL donated for breast cancer same story.

--this information wont help. the worst why spouse cell phone "block the caller" didnt work? in the past i would wrote what happened to us until saw a paper those help "fraud verified/reported" websites collect reporters informations. so i just like others say nothing but expect some one reported.
now i also disable phone notifications which misguided me to call back those fraud phone calls and very likely made worse and worst.

i am now receiving large # of spam with addresses that will not allow me to assign them as "junk". example: Fibromyalgia Treatment Group Offer <"<*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>"> is there a way to filter these out of my mail?

--i read some of others replys and obviously not just happened to @outlook but my emails provider too. today igot many medicines and others related fraud emails in inbox which i have to manually one by one seleted. this time i can mark block senders which supposed auto deleted but didnt and found in "trash" folder after click twice "block senders" then deleted.
as i said same deadly problems happened to victims in different years. 2017年9月，Equifax宣布其系统遭到网络犯罪攻击 caused 1.47亿 clients 信息数据泄露. that means already happened but didnt report so got court sued.
while 库克县健康中心数据安全事件通告 not too late and CCH declared 没有证据表明任何个人信息被滥用 but i already got millioms fraud medicine related junk emails today. how about 库克县 government allow me to forward those millioms fraud medicine related junk emails to CCH and why cant successfully block senders who keep sending every day and repeated.

Hi. I try to mark different emails as spam filter, but microsoft spam filter never works. The emails keeps coming into the inbox no matter how often I report the mails as spam. Why is it not working?

ps IamMyself:Everyone being “spammed” by yadoo and at&t should start forwarding all of their spam or junk emails to abuse@att.net so that at&t can get the yadoo email spam experience that the herd is having daily.
maybe when they start receiving millions of spam emails a day, they will either fire yadoo or fix the problem.

信息数据泄露" because we didnt receive any notice or warnning from 2 compaies(we did receive 库克县健康中心数据 about PJ&A mail) till DEC 2023 found out we are victims caused by fraud banker. my question Equifax offered 3 companies credit reports, i dont think PJ&A offered another 3 companies credit reports will help but offer free anti-virus-like to stop lots fraud emails and phone calls. i dont know (AIG)Corebridge offer what offered and status yet. but prefer with PJ&A together help victims to kick off those frauds emails and phone calls.
so far i cant but agree close the many years email account and buy a new cell phone with new number(not really help if the new ph#( with chip) from previous owner may even worse), is the only way. unfortunately it is not easy especially when spouse ordered on line chip for my cell phone i bet it is the previous ph# owner still texted with others even we reported and hardware reset. very weird and cant figure out.
