如何培养学生写好英语作文李凌2008-12-2215:452008-05-2915:19英语作文是英语教学中的一个重要的组成部分,学生英语学得好不好从作文可略见一斑,如何培养好学生写好英语作文,根据笔者多年的经验有以下几种方法。



1。首现在课堂上先进行有意识的训练,现在的新教材都是话题语言,对每一个话题操练结束后,让学生有意识的口头总结,总结的内容不易过长,大约五六个句子,这样叫不同层次的学生来总结,学生只有在对语言能用口头流畅的叙述出来,才能在笔头没有错误的句子,老师在学生叙述后进行一定的评价并指出错误,程度差的听一听程度好的,这样可以互相学习。



2。留书面作业,第二天由老师批改,该后对学生出现的错句要及时纠正,不合格的同学要进行二次甚至三次改写,对能用课文的重点句型进行造句的要加分及表扬,对程度很差的要求背诵其改过的作文



3。对学生要严格要求在抒写中,要先打好草,不要划字,涂抹,最后抄到绢面上一定是干净整齐的作文。



4.在平时的课文学习中,要加强背诵,积累的多了,自然笔下就流畅了



5.养成好的习惯,持之以恒,自然就能得到高分。



6.经常把好作文给全班同学读一读,激励好学生更上一层楼,对差生起到一个督促作用。

2008-05-2615:33众所周知,词汇是语言的三大要素之一,记忆词汇是学习语言的基础,而词汇教学则无疑是英语教学的关键。了解每一个词的用法,更是关键中的关键,每年中考对动词,词类转换在试卷中占有相当的比重,下面根据我的做法谈谈几个体会。



第一步单词的教法,根据国际音标预习单词,教师教但此时以启发式,如教



Party时,我先写出Farm,hard,car等学生辨析,又如教birthday,教师问学生这个但此有几个音节,从哪儿划分,前一个音节读什么音,后一个音节读什么音,经过几番启发,大多数同学能够正确地读出该词,教师在引导学生读单词的同时,应当及时地指出



单词的某些其他的特征:可数与否,属何种词类等,最后让学生合上书,教师慢速朗读单词,学生随之默读或默写,这一过程仅五分钟的课堂时间。



第二步:把词融会于句型,加强据句型练习,记忆研究还表明,抽象而孤立的东西不容易记住,我们知道英语单词音与易的结合是任意的,由社会约定俗成的。要使学生记住这些抽象而孤立的单词,一个行之有效的方法就是把词汇和单词放到实际的语言环境当中去。例如,



学生会birthdayparty拼读之后,教师可用这样的例句来进一步巩固学生的记忆。Todayismy



Birthday.Wearegoingtohaveaparty..Mother‘sbirfthdayisinDecember.mybrother‘sbirthdayisinMay..Myfamiliyisgoingtohavefourbirthdays.教师也可以用下列句子向学生题词;Whenismybirthday?Whichmonthismybirthday?在上述练习中,我们可以看出,birthday这个单词出现了好多次,该词当然会在学生头脑中存在的长久的多,联系生词造句或提问学生的作法即给学生多听练的机会,可以帮助学生形象的牢记住单词,然后课上课下多次的重复新单词。初中教材每课需用一周的时间,在这段时间里。生词反复再现,再运用既有当场复现,又有间隔复现,一周后大多数学生的生词记忆率在此基础上98%以上。



第三步;掌握每个单词及各词的用法。对初中学生来说,分清每个词的用法,掌握好动词,名词,副词,代词,形容词,介词及其相互内在的联系,这是最重要的。我从初一下学期就训练学生用英语说词性,如;adj,adv,v,vt,v,l,art,,n,prep,pron,等经过一个阶段的训练,大部分学生都能听懂并会说。学生认为搞清词义不难,查一下书就知道,但搞清词与词之间的关系及其语法关系可就无书可查。例如,Theboydoeshishomeworkeveryday..如问词义学生一般都会说那个小男孩每天做作业,如再问还表明什么?学生就无法回答。教师在这里应告诉学生,这是个单数的可数名词,是主格,在句中做主语。所以要求谓语动词用does



动词时态用一般现在时。所以由句子中的词的意义和语法意义可见单词中包括了两种不同性质的意义,由此看来词汇的学习与语法是密切相关的。



对初中生来说,分清每个词性的变化,是相当重要的。我及时给学生总结名词是单复数的变化,形容词是比较级最高级的变化。而动词时态的变化。冠词常用来修饰名词,形容词常用来修饰名词和副词而副词常用来修饰动词,就是这些普通的常识,对学生来说是相当重要的,这些词性的变化,学生最容易搞混乱。



在众多的词类中,动词是语言的灵魂,学生外语表达能力的高低,重要条件之一,就是要掌握一定量的动词。而每个动词都要有一定的句子结构。这就叫做动词的句式。我经常告诉同学们。我们说或写英语句子时,一定要根据谓语动词的句式区组织句子,千万不要按汉语句子的句式套,例如,想用英语表达“我要你写一封信,“就说”Iwantyouwritealetter”



这是个错误的句子。原因是没有掌握want这个动词的用法,这个动词表达要某人做某事用

许多学生对非谓语动词,如现在分词。动名词,不定式的用法感到头疼,其实,能请这些词的语法意义及其用法,就会一目了然,极易掌握。我告诉学生们,现在分词适用于现在进行时和过去进行时,而动词只局限于在几个动词之后,如;finish,keep,enjoy,mind,hate,等,而有的动词,既可接动名词,又可接动词不定式,但表答的含义都不一样。如helikesswimming(持久兴趣)Helikestoswim(短暂兴趣)。Hestopsreading.(动作完全停止),Hestops



tohaverest.(停下一个动作进行另一个动作)从这个例子可以看出。英语的句子与词汇是不可分离的,否则词汇的意义就无从掌握。



就象动词来说,就有及物动词和不及物动词之分,另外还有联系动词,接双宾语的动词,接动名词的动词,接不定式的动词,这些都是学生易忘且很难掌握的动词。



就不及物动词来说,1。要告诉学生,这类动词不能直接加宾语,必须加副词和介词,如listento,,lookat,,lookfor,walkto,,getto,talkto,,haveatalk,,haveawalk,,havealook,,由原来



动词词义变为名词,仍保留原来的词义。而就及物动词来讲,它后面的形式是多种多样的,如;不带to的动词不定式let,hear,see,help,,feel,watch,have,make等,我及时总结歌谣“一看,二听.,三让,半帮助。2。接双宾语的动词‘teach,show,,tell,bring,buy,,这一类动词还可以转换成asksbtodosth,tellsbtodosth,showsthsb,showsthtosb,直宾指物间宾指人。3.联系动词,可以搭配形容词的动词叫联系动词,如;getturn,look,grow,keep,,become等等(这一类在语法上承系表结构)4。可做宾补的动词,如;Wantsbtodosth,asksbtodosth,tellsbtodosth.



总之,英语词汇中最重要的一类词是动词,句中最关键的词是谓语,我们教词汇就要在动词上下功夫,尤其动词句式上下工夫,特别象go,come,get,,do,,have,,take,make,look



这些貌不惊人的小词转入最广泛,搭配能力最强,表现力丰富。而且也是他们,在语言发展的长河里不断与其他词组合成新的词组,表达人们思想中日益繁多的新概念,如;1.gotoschool,gotobed,gotowork,gohiking,gofishing2.,lookatlookfor,looklike,lookover,lookthesame,lookafter3.getup,getto,getdown,getoutof,getreadyfor,等等



经过揭示词汇的语言和结构规律,分析词汇与语法的关系,指出学习词汇的重点和难点,学生对于词汇有了较深的理解,每当学习一个新词时,横向可联想的比较,同义词,近义词,反义词,读音相近的词,用法相近的词,用法易混肴的词,表示同类概念的以及它的派生词,复合词,。纵向可考虑这几个词用在句中,可采取何种形式(如动词用什么时态,搭配什么样的非谓语形式,语态),在句中语法和词汇意义,这个词有几种句式等。



词汇教学可使学生从各个侧面,多层次,多角度地认识词汇的意义,加深了对词汇的理解,一但学生掌握了英语词汇的学习规律,就抓住了英语语言的实质,他们应用起来就得心应手,就能自如的用英语表达自己的思想。
