Impulsevoltage

Toget50%breakdownvoltage,chargingvoltageshallberegulatedastoatleast2%of

Duringtheapplication,timeperiodshallnotbelowerthan30seconds.

At50%ofplanneddischargevoltage,itisbettertogettheaveragevoltageofaleasttwo

voltagesetting.Anothermethodis,comparescontinuous10outputvoltage,until4-6

breakdowndischargevoltageisobtained.



DCorACvoltage

Useacomparativelylowamplitude,whichcannotcausebreakdownvoltage,toaddvoltage.

Thenslowlyimprovetheamplitude,sothatuserreadslowervoltagewhenspheregaphas

breakdowndicharge.Oraddaconstantvoltageattwoterminalsofgap.Thenslowlylower

voltage,untilvoltagebreakdownhappens.

Ifthereisdustorfibrematerialintheair,theremightbelowandunstablebreakdown

discharge.EspeciallywhenmeasuringDCvoltage.Togetafinalresult,itmightneedsmultiple

tests.
