加麦克卢汉的三个媒介命题：媒介即讯息；媒介是人体的延伸；冷媒介和热
媒介。

“媒介是人体的延伸”，他认为，任何媒介都是人的感觉或感官的延伸。
“mediaareextensionsofthehumanbody”.Hebelievedthatmediawere
extensionsofoursensesorphysicalorgans.
照片延伸了我们的视觉，使我们能看到地球另一端的风景；广播延伸了我们
的听觉，使我们可以实时获取路况信息；电视延伸了我们的听觉和视觉，让我们
可以同时用耳朵和眼睛领略异域风情。

在“媒介即人的延伸”的基础上，麦克卢汉又提出了“延伸意味着截除”，
这些替代性的工具使我们自身的功能退化。

例如，有了眼镜、望远镜和手机使我们不必像游牧部落一样依靠视力观察远
方，我们的视力越来越低。

媒介是对不同感官的延伸。因此，使用不同的媒介，也意味着传播和获取信
息的方式以及认知方式的改变，进而带来思维方式的改变。
