worksofKoryoembassadors,consequently“Xiaozhonghuaembassy”appearedinthediplomacybetweenKoryoand
Song.Itwasn’ttotalculturalconsciousnessofKoryobutadiplomaticsymbol.InlateKoryoDynasty,YiSaek
recountedandreinterpreted“Xiaozhonghuaembassy”becauseofthein?uenceofZhuzidoctrineandthechangefrom
YuantoMing,makingitsurmountthehistoricalcontextofdiplomacybetweenKoryoandSongandgivingitdistinct
realisticmeaningandSino-barbarianmind.Hereafter,“Xiaozhonghua”wassublimatedasKoryo’sculturalidentity
