课程性质与目标

1、课程性质

“秘书英语”课程是湖北省高等教育自学考试涉外秘书专业（本科）所开设的一门专业基础课程，是一门结合文秘知识与英语语言运用的应用性课程，主要为培养、锻炼学习者在秘书工作领域的英语日常对话能力以及相关商业信函和文书的英语写作能力。课程设置目的旨在使学生能够比较全方面的使用英语应对秘书日常工作，熟练的掌握英语日常对话能力，以及与涉外秘书工作相关的信函、文书的英语写作能力。学生在完成本课程后，能够在涉外商务工作中较好的进行英语的口头及书面的交流对话。

2、课程目标

通过本课程的学习，考生应该全面地了解并基本掌握涉外商务活动中的常用语言、礼仪习惯、和重要商务工作流程，并能运用于实践。

（一）使考生比较全面系统地了解英语文秘人员的日常工作事务及流程，掌握常用的语言和礼仪。

（二）使学生能够基本掌握涉外经贸活动中应具备的相关知识及英语信函文书的理解与写作能力。

（三）培养学生文秘知识与英语语言结合的实际运用能力。

二、课程内容

本课程共有二十四单元，可分为三大部分，具体内容如下：

第一部分（第一单元至第十单元）:主要介绍秘书工作的日常事务及基本礼仪。其中第一章介绍求职面试对话表达及求职通信信函；第二章介绍介绍秘书工作工作环境及要求；第三章至第十章主要介绍秘书工作的日常事务用于及其礼仪。要求掌握电话接待礼仪及用语；重点掌握常用商务接待礼仪和礼貌用语，求职面试、安排约会、预订等活动的常用表达，日常安排、行程表的格式及写法，求职信函、约见函、预订函、请帖和祝贺信的格式与习惯表达方式。

第二部分（第十一单元至第十五单元）：主要介绍文书处理和办公自动化。其中第十一至十四单位主要介绍秘书相关工作中的文书写作与处理；第十五章主要介绍办公自动化。要求掌握会议安排，公函的特点与写法，档案管理规则，办公自动化及相关专业用语；重点掌握会议通知和书面报告的内容，格式和写法。

第三部分（第十六单元至二十四单元）：主要介绍进出口业务处理。其中第十六章主要介绍外商接待事宜及其礼仪用语；第十七至二十章主要介绍进出口业务洽谈与相关实务流程及文书表达；第二十一章主要介绍报关于关税相关知识；第二十二章主要介绍保险事宜；第二十三至二十四章主要介绍投诉纠纷及其受理。要求掌握接待外商的常用表达于礼仪习惯，商业信函的特点，格式和写法，报关、交税流程和其中注意事项，保险险种的表达及相关事宜，货物损害报告信函及回函，投诉接待礼仪与语言表达，投诉函的特点、格式及写法，投诉受理及投诉要求处理，投诉受理函的特点、格式及写法；重点掌握销售信函和订单的结构格式与写法，询价与报价及其回复中的商贸用语，询价函及其复函的特点、结构格式与内容，商务谈判及其流程与技巧，议价函的格式与写法，货物包装与发货细节，包装指导函及其复函的内容特点、结构格式与写法。

有关说明与考核实施要求

考核目标

本课程注重知识的实用性，因此本大纲在考核目标中按掌握和重点掌握两个层次要求。掌握要求考生能够熟悉相关概念和用语的基本表达。重点掌握要求考生能够在掌握的基础上实际应用相关知识，分析和解决实际问题。以上两个层次的要求相互之间并没有非常严格的界限，学习中要正确处理基础知识和应用能力的关系，将英语知识与文秘知识相结合，应以培养在商贸活动中英语的实际应用能力为学习方向。

命题标准

本课程是涉外秘书专业开设一门专业必修课程，命题标准参照全日制普通高校相同专业，相同课程的本科专业的结业水平，并体现自学考试以培养应用型人才为主要目标的特点，题量上保证中等水平的考生能够在规定的考核时间内完成全部的考题，并有适当的时间对答案进行检查。

考试范围

以湖北省教育考试院2007年颁布的《秘书英语课程考试大纲》为依据，以新版《实用文秘英语》（胡敏主编湖南人民出版社2005年2月第三版）教材为命题范围。试题的参考答案按所规定教材中有关提法编制。

考试命题要求

考试形式

“秘书英语”课程考试形式为闭卷考试，考试时间为150分钟，评分采用百分制，60分为及格线。

试卷内容结构

教材8、11、13、17—24单元为重点内容，考核分值占60%,教材1、3—6、9、10为次重点内容，考核分值占30%，其余单元为一般考核，考核分值占10%。

试卷能力结构

能力考核分为“词汇、句式识记”、“篇章阅读理解”、“英汉互译”和“综合应用写作”四个层次，各层次的试题在试卷中的分值比例为：“词汇、句式识记”占30%左右,“篇章阅读理解”占20%左右，“英汉互译”占20%左右，“综合应用写作”占30%左右。

试卷的难度结构

试卷试题难度分为“容易”、“中等便易”、“中等偏难”和“难”四个程度，其相应的试题在试卷的分值中所占比例依次为30%、30%、25%和15%。

试卷的题型结构

本课程考试的试卷采用的题型有：词汇语法选择填空，阅读理解，单词识记，完形填空，英汉互译以及应用文写作。
