GUARANTEE

Manufacturer should provide engineers and engineering supports for commissioning, system check, HAT and SAT.
Manufacturer should provide experts for training course before each ship delivery.

Air conditioning system shall be of high pressure, central unit, low velocity and single duct system.
The system shall consist of two (2) air conditioning central units and necessary air distributing. Each of the units has 100% capacity to operation.
Fresh air supply to be adjustable from 0% to 50%.
When the system works for cooling, air temperature at the outlet of supply fan shall be controlled by an automatic expansion valve and a solenoid valve. The automatic expansion valve shall control the evaporation temperature of refrigerant by the temperature of return refrigerant from air cooler. The solenoid valve shall be operated by a thermostat installed at the return air inlet, and control the refrigerant quantity to supply to air cooler.
When the system works for heating, air temperature at the outlet of supply fan shall be controlled by the automatic steam regulating valve. The automatic steam regulating valve shall control the steam quantity by a thermostat installed in air supply duct.
Air humidity shall be controlled manually by a needle valve at the air conditioning unit.
The air will be transported to the accommodation via pre-insulated ducting.
Room air temperature shall be controlled manually by adjusting supply air quantity at punkah louver or diffuser in each room.

Main particulars:
Air conditioning central units (one standby) shall be installed in air conditioning unit room and shall contain the following equipment. The required heating/cooling capacity shall be calculated by Maker in according to accommodation plan, and calculation sheets shall be submitted for reference.
Two (2) – Refrigerating compressors, R-404A direct expansion, electric motor driven. Each of the units to have 100% capacity and be cross connected. Each of the units shall consist of one compressor, one condenser, one receiver, one gas dryer, one separator, safety devices, fittings and piping to complete refrigerating cycle in accordance with the manufacturer’s standard.
Cooling capacity: not less than 138 kW Each
Two (2) – Central units, consist of supply fan, heating chamber, cooling chamber, sound dampers, filters and necessary attachments. The air supply to be interconnected between the outlets of central units.
Air volume: not less than 7800 m3/h Each
Static pressure: about 2500Pa
Heating capacity: not less than 80 kW Each
Cooling capacity: not less than 138 kW Each
Steam pressure: 0.7 Mpa
Cooling water for air condition plant: 38oC, low temperature fresh water from central cooling system. Heat balance calculation should be submitted to Shipyard.
Motor: IP44/F or B. As for detail specification, refer to Appendix
Control panel:
Common alarm to be connected and be displayed in central alarm and monitoring system in engine control room.

Appendix I
General Specification of Motor
1. General: The design of motors shall be of squirrel cage induction type, except special descriptions. In general, the power of motor shall be AC 440V, 60Hz, 3 phase but the non-fixed type and special design small motor can be AC 220V, 60Hz, 3 phase or 1 phase.
2. Type: IEC standard, squirrel cage rotor induction type for marine use.
3. Ambient temperature: 45 deg. C
4. Rating: Motor should suit continuous rating.
5. Bearing: Bearings should be provided in accordance with maker''s standard.
6. Terminal box: Totally enclosed, water proof terminal box with terminal block solderless terminals and cable glands.
7. Space heater: for all motor of 10kW and above, steering gear, emergency fire pump or positioned on exposed deck.
8. Starting method: Direct on line starting type for general motors. Star-Delta starting method for 15 kW motor and above.
9. Spare parts:
Shall be supplied in accordance with the Cass requirements and manufacturer’s standards for one year spare parts supply.

Appendix II
General Specification of Starter
1. Mounting type: Wall mounting.
2. Enclosure: Drip proof type (IP22)
3. Construction: cubical steel construction with hinged door and front access for operation and maintenance.
4. Control circuit: The voltage of control circuit in starter shall be equipped with control circuit transformers, 440/220V AC for external control circuit such as pressure switch, magnet valve, remote control push button circuit, etc.
5. Color of lamp: White for source, Green for running, Red for alarm, space heater ON: orange
6. Color of push button: Black for start, Red for stop.
7. Lamp circuit: The lamp circuit to be fused at source side only.
8. Components: The controllers, except motors less than 0.5 kW, to be contained the followings:
1 -Molded case circuit breaker
1 -Magnetic contactor
1 -Over-load relay of thermal trip type
1 -Pilot lamp for source
1 -Running indicating lamp

9. Over load relay:
The over current relay to be provided in two (2) phases and manual finger in starter.
10. Remote control:
Local start and stop push button switches with running indicating lamp & off- locking device shall be provided near the motors if necessary.
11. Electric circuit diagram:
Electric circuit diagram with a transparent and heat-resisting plastic protection cover shall be provided on backside of starter door.
12. Signal contact:
Abnormal indication contact should be provided.
13. Color of bus bar:

14. Name plate:
The nameplate shall be of acrylic with white background and black text (Caution plate to be white background and red text) for inside of compartment, unless specified. For the outside of compartment, the nameplate to be brass (but the caution plate in large size can have be specified in other material) with anti-corrosion treatment.
The small stainless screwed or riveted nameplate shall be fitted above or side of instruments, indication lamps, switches and circuit breakers of electric equipment.
