Entry into machinery spaces whilst in “ Unmanned ” manning mode
當進入使用無人“ Unmanned ” 操縱模式之機艙時
( 1 ) Whenever the Duty Engineer enters the machinery spaces alone , he should switch
on the “ Dead Man Alarm ” function first , and the activated “ Dead Man Alarm ”
must be reset within 20 minutes by pushing the nearest alarm-reset button , these are
distributed throughout the machinery space.
當值管輪單獨進入無人操縱模式之機艙時,應先打開 “ Dead Man Alarm ” 警報
功能。被啟動的警報必須在20分鐘內透過按下最近的警報復位按鈕重新覆規
( Reset ) ;這些設備分佈在整個機艙內。
( 2 ) If the activated “ Dead Man Alarm ” is not reset within 20 minutes , the alarm will
sound on the bridge and in the Chief Engineer’s room . The Duty Officer should
then dispatch the Duty AB to search for the Duty Engineer in case he is in any
danger or has had an accident.
如果此警報不在20分鐘內重新復歸 ( Reset ),警報將在駕駛台和輪機長房間
發出,然後當值船副應該派當值AB尋找當值管輪,以防他處於任何危險或者
已經發生意外。
( 3 ) When Duty Engineer enters the Engine Room , He should also switch the manning
mode to “ Manned ” position , and establish communication with the Duty Officer
on the Bridge.
當值輪機員進入機艙後,應將 “ Unmanned ” 操縱模式改為 “ Manned ”,
同時應該與駕駛台上的當值船副連繫。
