浅谈as引导的让步状语从句

人教社SEFC SB3 Unit 1 P4中有这样一句话：
Impressive as the record is, it fades next to the story of Armstrong's struggle against disease. 虽然这项记录令人难忘，但是阿姆斯特朗与疾病抗争的故事比它更加令人瞩目
在这个句子里，as引导让步状语从句，意为“尽管、虽然”， 常可将作表语或作状语的形容词、名词、副词以及情态动词或助动词之后的动词原形提到句首，构成倒装形式。
注：将作表语的名词提前时不能用冠词。
1.Girl as she is, she is braver than a boy.
   = Though she is  a girl, she is braver than a boy.
2.Smart ____ he was, he was not able to solve the problem.
  A. although    B. as  C. even though   D. as though
3.Try____ he might, he couldn't get out of the difficulty.

尽管他很尽力，但仍未能摆脱困境。

总结：
句型：1.（零冠词）+单数可数名词+as +主语+be + 其他成分
    Child as he is , he knows a lot.
2.形容词、过去分词+as +主语+ be+其它成分
  Surrounde as we were by enemy, we managed to match forward.
  虽然我们被敌人包围了，我们还是设法前进。
  Young as he is, he is quite experienced in the work.
3.副词+as +主语+谓语动词+其它成分
   Many times as she had failed, she didn't give up her plan.
4.谓语动词+as +主语+助动词、情态动词+其它成分
  Fail as I did, I would try again.
注：当状语从句的主语是名词时，一般要全部倒装
Difficult as was the task, it was finished in time.
Dark as was the night , he still found his way to my home.
 但有时也可部分倒装，如本课的这个句子。
