Analysis Summary Page

The summary page gives a quick overview of the results of an analysis.  It’s a single page display of the top networks, functions, canonical pathways, my pathways, and top genes associated with that particular dataset.  If you specifically run a Tox analysis the Top Tox functions and Top Toxicity lists associated with your dataset are also displayed.   To access summary page click on the Summary Tab.

 

 

Click on the to expand the Top Categories to view the details. Click the button to collapse the Top Categories.

 

 

 

• The Analysis Settings section displays any filters you used, as well as the reference set, and relationship types used in the analysis.
   

• The Top Networks in your analysis are displayed along with the network score.  You can also preview each of the listed top networks.

 

• The Top Functions are grouped into three categories: Diseases and Disorders; Molecular and Cellular Functions; and Physiological System Development and Function.  Under each high-level category, the top functions are listed along with their significance and number of associated genes.  Clicking on a top function open the functions bar chart.  Below the functions bar chart you will be able to see the specific functions, associated genes and their significance values.

 

• Top Canonical Pathways and My Pathways are displayed along with the ratio and significance in the adjacent columns.

 

• Top molecules are grouped into up-regulated and down-regulated categories and displayed along with their expression values.   Clicking on any of the top molecules will open the corresponding Gene View or Chemical View page.

 

• Top Tox Functions are displayed for a toxicity analysis along with the significance values and number of associated molecules.

 

• Top Toxicity lists are displayed for a toxicity analysis along with the ratio and significance values.

 

Exporting the Analysis Summary Page

To export the Analysis Summary page as a PDF file, click on the PDF icon at the top of the window.

 

 

This will create a PDF report of the Analysis Summary page. Blue links are active and will link you back into the corresponding section in IPA.
