The paper reviewed researches on foreign language learning autonomy both in western countries and in China and commented on the definition of autonomy,its influencing factors,autonomous capability as well as methods of promoting autonomy.The paper also suggested directions of later researches—longitudinal researches and studies on the relationship of autonomy and other learner factors. |
