1730's Creamer

This is an early creamer made by Meissen in the late 1730's. It is handpainted with the underglaze blue Fels und Vogel Design first seen around 1735 I believe and this piece is as early as it comes. It still has the early handle shape and the blue is different from the later versions. The creamer is in great condition except for a small chip to the mostly underside of the spout tip. The piece is 3.375 inches tall and has a diameter of about 2.5 inches. I have not seen an early creamer like this before so it is definitely a rare piece! It is marked with the underglaze blue crossed swords mark that are straight with the dot at the end as well as a J. for a blue painters mark. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
