Principal R&D Engineer (Milling / EDM Software)
Responsibilities:
- Development of ladder software or C language based software systems for CNC machine tool
- Testing product and elements for new development and product improvement
- Survey market for planning new product
- Research for new technology
- Releasing necessary engineering documents for manufacturing, sales and service
- Support manufacturing, sales and service
- Train and educate co-workers
- Manage engineering and technological information
- Establish cooperative relation with supplier, authority and society
Requirements & Personal Attributes:
- Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Mechatronics.
- At least 5 years working experience in Ladder software development /
C language programming to control machine driven by servo motor or
inverter drive motor or hydraulic actuator or pneumatic actuator.
- Knowledge in CNC controls is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge on the software rules & standards.
- Knowledge in C/C++, VB.
- Skill in Algorithm development, Source code management, Software debugging capabilities.
- Must be willing to work in the machine assembly for support and software debugging.
- Good in Analytical thinking and ability to assimilate new ideas and concepts.
- Team player, Creative thinker and fast learner, strong in learning new technologies
- Positive attitude, Flair for R&D
