如果說：

我的心身都很疲乏。

依我看法，是改變情況的時候了。
to turn the corner就是改變情況( to change a situation)
例如：
Some people predicted that our economy is turning the corner.
有些人預料，經濟正在變化中。
Mr. A's condition has turned the corner and he is improving.
A先生的身體情況已有改變，並在進步中。
(這裡只用condition，通常都指身體情況)
During his 4-year leadership, Mr. Ma has been trying to turn the corner on China policy.
馬先生在位領導四年中，已設法改變對中國的政策。
To turn the corner quickly seems necessary for those who face financial difficulties.
那些面臨經濟困難的人，需要即速改變情況。
也可指一般意義：
Finally, Mr. B drove his car down the street and turned the corner.
最後B先生把車開到馬路一端，再另轉方向。
(這裡turned the corner= changed direction)

不要太過自信而冒險!
to push one's luck是指由於做事自信心太強，而帶有冒險(do something over-confidently)
例如：
Even though Mr. A has done very well, he is still pushing his luck.
即使A先生工作表現很好，但他仍然冒險，想再交好運。
As a successful businessman, Mr. B has been pushing his luck.
B先生是位成功商人，但他還是貪心不足。
By pushing (pressing) your luck too much, you may end up with nothing.
過度自信，貪心不足，你也許最後無所收獲。
(也有人用動詞press)
Young people are prone to push their luck.
年輕人傾向自信百倍，貪心不足。
Don't leave Bob holding the bag.
別讓Bob獨自負責。
to leave someone holding the bag 是讓別人承擔責任，獨背黑鍋(force someone to bear the blame or responsibility)
例如：
It would be unfair to leave Mr. A holding the bag.
讓A先生獨自負責背黑鍋，是不公平的。
The buck stops here; I'll not leave you holding the bag.
我要自己負責；不會把責任推給你。
The buck stops here係美國總統杜魯門辦公室桌上的座右銘，意謂「責任止於此」，也就是別把責任推給別人(don't pass the buck to someone)
(buck本是一種籌碼或標誌)
也用被動語態：
For this project, Mr. B should not be left holding the bag.
對於這個計劃，B先生不該獨自承受責任。
With her careless attitude, she has been left holding the bag.
她的不在乎態度，落得她自己背黑鍋。
Being left holding the bag in this matter, Bob felt awful.
Bob被迫獨自承受這件事的責任，感到十分難過。
但也可指普通意義：
Please hold the bag for me and I'll be back soon.
請代我拿一下提包，我馬上回來。
The world is your oyster.
你一切都會順利。
The world is someone's oyster意思是世界還有許多機遇，一切都會很好(everything will be fine)
(因為牡蠣裡可能藏有珍珠)
Don't be pessimistic; the world is your oyster.
不要悲觀；一切將會很好。
Tell her to stop being hostile to others; the world is her oyster.
告訴她不要對人懷有敵意，世界還是美好的。
As the world is your oyster, you should strive harder for your goal.
世界還有許多機遇，你應該更加努力，達到你的目標。
Even though the world is his oyster, he does not look at everything through rose-colored glasses.
即使世界充滿美好，他仍然不會過份樂觀看待事物。
註：(人稱代名詞和oyster通常只用單數，所以不說：our oysters或 their oysters)

to give someone enough rope to hang oneself
讓某人為所欲為，自作自受或自生自滅。
(let a person continue to ruin himself or herself)
例如：
I knew Mr. A was lying to me, but I gave him enough rope to hang himself.
我知道A先生在騙我，但我讓他自甘墮落吧!
If he still does not listen to my advice, I may have to give him enough rope.
假如他仍然不聽我的勸告，我也許會讓他自作自受。
(也有人把to hang himself省去)
