Sergey Makhno创作的器皿使用到了大家都很熟悉的混凝土和玻璃瓶。混凝土被制成规整的方体，上面被开了许多几何形体的洞，放进玻璃瓶，整个造型人工，轻盈，城市化。这些混凝土块将就像是城市中建设用到的材料，上面盛放的植物就像是人造的城市与其中生活的植物的关系。混凝土的粗糙，花朵的娇嫩，形成鲜活的对比。

这系列的器皿无疑是极简主义装饰的优选之一。

Sergey Makhno has created a series of vases called The Invariants using materials, amiliar to us from childhood, such as concrete and a three-liter jar. The title of the series originates from exact mathematical sciences and means property of the object to remain unvarying upon transformations. Likewise, in our series the form varies but materials remain. Various geometrical forms form basis of the images – they are a square, a rectangle, a circle…, reminding us of urban multistoried buildings, office centers and dormitory areas. Vases, like bricks of a construction kit, are highly urbanized and reflect a modern city, where lone trees against the background of ‘asphalt jungle’ and paved streets look as fresh and contrasting as delicate flower buds against the background of rough concrete. These vases are perfect accessories for the up-to-date minimalist interior and for connoisseurs of simple forms and contrast solutions.
