Many pregnant women often complain that sound sleep does not agree with them. Some say it's hard to fall asleep because they are anxious about their baby's arrival. Some are suffering from leg cramps and frequent urination while others just can't get comfortable.

According to a gynecologist, during the first trimester, insomnia is relatively common and is caused by the hormonal changes of pregnancy because "Progesterone is a natural sedative”.
