So, whose money is it?

 苏卜拉妮 2012-12-07

Learning how to conduct personal financial transactions is essential for us as freshmen.

But whether we should use money under the supervision of our parents deserves thinking about. From my perspective, we should be given a free hand to manage money matters on our own. Only in this way can we gain the experience from the practice and make a rational approach to keep on top of a budget. As a matter of fact, the reason why parents are chary about our budgets is because they hope we can shun some superfluous purchases. They think we will be disposed to take everything into account before we buy something. But at times they just shrug off our true mind. And we have never been given a dynamic touch to money matters.    Given a chance to have a try in our way, we may learn how to save money and make the best of money. Otherwise, we will never be propelled towards the money management. Parents are supposed to let us go. Nevertheless, I think parents’ proper control over our money instead of thrusting dominations on our money  can impose a better effect on both. On the one hand, we needn’t report every trivial purchase to our parents but the significant ones.

Because we might demand their suggestions to make a final decision. Thus, we can avoid telling our routine expenditure to our parents. On the other hand, we take the responsibility for letting our parents know how we are doing recently.
