It is said that the house will be equipped with appliances with remote or voice control technologies, and a robot which is able to clean the floor and move stuff will work in it. Located on the open space opposite to the Peking University Science Park, the "pleasant house" was co-designed by the students from Peking University and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. It took them two years to complete the design of the zero-energy house.
