Humor is what makes something funny.

A sense of humor is the ability to recognize it.

    幽默感，是能够认出什么带出有笑感的能力

For example, He likes to tell jokes and make funny stories.

We say, He has a good sense of humor.  He displays a sense of humor.

    他表现出好的幽默感 He has a good sense of humor.  He displays a sense of humor.

But, not everybody is born with a great sense of humor.  It is a learned ability.

    幽默感不是天生就有的。是后天学习来的

That’s why we would say: try to develop a sense of humor

    也因此我们说，培养出幽默感来

To create a sense of humor, or to improve your sense of humor,

    创造出幽默感，增强幽默感

Don’t take yourself too seriously,

    不要太过于严肃认真

Try to lighten up and loosen up a bit.

    尝试轻松一点，随意一点
